Groningen 101

Dear new international students,

Welcome to the beautiful city of Groningen! Are you interested in Dutch culture? Want to know all the tips and tricks of living here? Do you want to know more about “Eierbal” and other typical Dutch food? Then the Groningen 101 is perfect for learning all about it! 

As an international student it can be harder adjusting to the new environment, however, we have all the information necessary to get you more confident in this city. We will teach you necessities like how to use the public transport, requesting a service number and DigiD, and how to handle the biking here.  

Groningen 101 is a last bit of introduction to all students new to Groningen, organized by the board of GLV Idun. We will introduce you to Groningen in an interactive presentation covering some practical information as well as an introduction to Dutch student life in Groningen where you are invited to ask as many questions as you desire. What's more to add than a special Dutch snacks tasting (for free!).

If you are interested, you can sign up at idun.nl and join us on Tuesday, the 1st of September, from 16.00 to 17.30 h for an afternoon of useful and fun! The location is in the Feringa Building in room 5616.0128.
