Welcome to Idun

On this page, you will find information about the Introduction activities for first-years students of the bachelors Biology, Biomedical Engineering and Life Science & Technology. The introduction period consists of a lot of thrilling events! It starts with an introduction day on 1st of September including an amazing free barbeque and drinks where you’ll be able to meet all your fellow Idunaren. Then, during the introduction week you’ll meet your fellow students for the first time, which is of course very nerve-wracking, but also very eggciting! You will also be guided by very eggcelent god parents who comfort you during your first weeks. 

After the first week of lectures, you’ll go on the most amazing weekend of your life: INTRODUCTION WEEKEND!! This will take place from 8-10 of September at an eggstraordinary farm in the picturesque village Appelscha. Here you will meet your fellow first years students and form a godparent group. This group will contain the friends that you made during this weekend and 2 experienced Idun members who will guide you through the rest of the introduction period. 

On Sunday after dinner the introduction weekend has sadly come to an end, but to close the introduction period we’ll go loose one more time at the intro party at the 14th of September! Then you will have finally been enlightened to the wonderful world of Idun :)
