Your job
Digital collaboration is becoming increasingly important in healthcare. This not only makes it possible to provide patients access to the electronic patient file (EPF), but also to exchange medical data between healthcare institutions. Sharing this data is crucial to gain a complete understanding of a patient's medical record.
With our eHealth functionalities, healthcare organizations provide patients and healthcare providers outside the walls of their buildings access to the electronic patient file (EPF). From a website where the patient can calmly read their file to the exchange of data between different healthcare entities, you know about it all. You are the point of contact for customers working with this. However, your work is not limited to answering questions from the healthcare institutions using this solution; you are also involved in implementing our software, training healthcare professionals to use it, and developing existing products.
You will collaborate with customers and our developers to test and develop the software. If a hospital wants to enable patients to make online appointments, you'll assist. Questions about e-consultations or online file access? You have the answer. In short, a varied range of tasks that ensure no day needs to be the same.
Your team
You'll work with thirteen consultants, aged between 20 and 35, supervised by an enthusiastic team leader. You belong to the Implementation & Support department, and there's always room for a joke in your office. After work, you frequently participate in outings and joint sports activities. Due to the broad use of our eHealth solutions, you can develop within this team as the expert in primary care, data exchange, or the Belgian healthcare structure. If you want to gain more knowledge about other areas, you'll have plenty of opportunities. Several of your teammates have already made a successful move to other focus areas within our software in this way.
Your workday
This morning, you directly approached the developers to discuss all the great ideas you noted down yesterday during the project day at a healthcare institution. Together, you're refining some of these ideas so your colleague can start developing them. You continue preparing the course you'll be teaching tomorrow to the application managers of the same healthcare institution. Some of your colleagues have a few questions, which you'll research together. Fortunately, solving these together is a breeze!
