As a current student you are the expert we are looking for to impart your enthusiasm and knowledge about the programme. As a student assistant within the promo team your main responsibility is to help organize information events and represent Biology both online and offline. You will be part of a team of 4 Biology students and on occasion work together with teams of other FSE programmes.

Responsibilities include:
- Organizing and presenting at informations events (e.g. Open Day/Student for a Day)
- Answering questions of prospective students (e.g. Mail/Unibuddy/Video Call)
- Content creation for our social media (Instagram/Facebook), 1-2x per year
- Mentoring and revising Web Classes
- Visiting high schools to present on and promote our Biology Bachelor’s programme
- Giving campus tours to prospective students
- Presenting and representing BSc Biology with enthusiasm

We offer:

- A gross salary of €219,38 to €223,58 a month (2026 salary scale of student assistants collective labor agreement Dutch Universities) based on 0,075 FTE (3 hours a week).
- The contract will run for 10 months from 1 September 2026 to 1 July 2027 with the option to extend as long as you remain a student.

Qualifications

- Biology BSc student during the 2026/2027 academic year

- Molecular Life Sciences Major is pré

- Skilled at communication and presenting

- Flexible availability for events

- Good command of English is necessary, and Dutch is preferred

- Teamplayer, proactive, flexible, creative, independent, representable

- Able to start per 1 September, 2026
