GSMS: Master Orientation Lunch Talk

GSMS: Master Orientation Lunch Talk

Dear student,

Already orientating about your master, but still doubting about which one to apply for? Did you know that as a student of LS&T, BME and Biology (all majors) you are eligible for the MSc Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment and Interdisciplinary Research in Health Dynamics?

GLV Idun is organizing a free lunch lecture where you find out more about these Masters, hearing it from experts in the field!

MMIT is a two-year selective programme that offers a rare advantage by integrating clinical, medical, and pharmaceutical aspects. It covers a wide range of exciting topics in molecular and translational medical research. Whether your interest lies in brain research, genetics, epigenetics, nanomedicine, microbiology, personalized medicine, or any other topic within (bio)medical and pharmaceutical sciences, as an MMIT student, you have the opportunity to tailor your studies to your specific interests and ambitions.

IRHD is a two-year selective programme as well. During this master you will dive into questions like: Why do some people recover quickly from illness while others struggle? How can societies support healthier lives for everyone, at every age? And how do science, technology, and policy influence our health, functioning and well-being? You are exploring health from multiple disciplines, work side by side with experts, and get hands-on experience while working on research projects. The master leads into two tracks: Mechanisms of Lifecourse Health, and Strategies for Population Health.

This event will take place on the 5th of March from 10:30-12:00 in the Panoramazaal, in UMCG. This room is in the mainbuilding of UMCG on the 4th floor. Sign ups are already open!
