We want YOU to be on the next team for the next Bridgestone World Solar Challenge - are you going to take on the challenge?

We are looking for students or graduates interested in innovation, engineering, organizing and planning, or people who just love ambitious projects with real impact. Does this sound like you? If so, you are the perfect candidate! We offer a chance to dive in, learn fast, and help build a real solar race car. Whether you’re a creative person, you are into programming, electronics, physics, or any kind of problem-solving there’s a place for you.

Regarding the workload, being part of the team is voluntary and the position is full-time, working at our office in Zernike Campus. Even though the position is voluntary, it comes with the benefits of gaining experience of working in a team with other highly motivated individuals and also travelling to Australia to participate in the competition. Students have the opportunity to get ECTs through the project, but that highly depends on the study, how related it is to your position and of course the University of Groningen. Some students have done their thesis in our team so that might be an opportunity.

Join our multidisciplinary team, with students from all kinds of institutions, striving to participate in the next Bridgestone World Solar Challenge 2027, in Australia and apply your experience into a real world scenario. If you are interested, apply straight through https://forms.gle/rupBCMRDBTzfaR3v5 .
