Botanical Drawing

In this workshop, you will be introduced to the creation of a scientific botanical drawing. Botanical artist Stefanie Ottens explains how to capture a plant or flower and how this can be transferred in pencil. She brings examples of botanical drawings, and various publications and gives a short demonstration. You will be working in pencil and different thicknesses of graphite. Whether you are a beginner or a skillful painter, our workshop promises a friendly setting that will give you a chance to discover the plant and reproduce it uniquely. We provide you with everything you need, you just need to bring a pencil sharpener, ruler, and smile ☺️. If you wish, you may as well, bring colored pencils.
